Fine Liner Brushes & Patterns
I recently took a trip down memory lane and, while sorting through old school and art college sketchbooks, re-discovered a love for the fine-liner. I used to spend more hours than I probably should have making patterns, shapes and doodles. I soon realised that there was no brush set that would allow me to return to these roots and do this digitally in Adobe Illustrator.
The Artifex Forge is therefore pleased to present this authentic and versatile tool kit, which includes a huge range of different pen marks – straight and rough outlines, dots and dashes, stippling, hatching, zigzags and more.
Most of the brushes use the pattern brush feature, which tiles a section along the stroke meaning that the brushes don’t over-stretch on long strokes, streamlining the drawing process and saving you time. I’ve also included a few outline art brushes for shorter sections. Finally, there’s a set of seamless, repeat patterns, which I designed to fill large areas quickly.
