Gel Lighting Photoshop photography is one of the most vibrant, impressive, and striking photographic techniques. This powerful action set replicates those beautiful, technical visuals in a matter of seconds!
The Gel lighting action set consists of three fully editable actions that mimic the appearance of high vibrancy gel lights striking your images from both sides. The result is beautiful, memorable, and truly powerful imagery.
BONUS
I’m also including a bonus of 16 high resolution (3000 x 4000px) Bokeh Light overlays that you can add at the end to add that little bit of magic. The second preview image shows an example of one of these applied. They’re supplied in jpg format and there are 8 color Bokeh and 8 greyscales, just to give you a few more options 🙂
Please note I’ve only been able to test this on Photoshop CC at present so can not say if it will work on CS5 or CS6 with any certainty just yet. For the best results, I suggest using large images, approximately 3000px along the shortest dimension.
Although predominantly used for portrait photography this powerful effect works for stylizing images used for editorial layouts, website designs, apps, or for showcasing fashion or products.
The perfect effect for adding some seriously bad-ass, dramatic punch to your images!
