Aogek Touchscreen Device for Apple iMac

Aogek Touchscreen Device for Apple iMac, Turn Your iMac into Touchpad(27-inch)

New Aogek Touchscreen Device for Apple iMac. At this time this is more of a toy/for-entertainment. That said – you’re happy with this item, so much so you got another one for the iMac at the office. Again not sure you have found the best use of this item. Need to play around with it for a while to see any true benefits.

PROS:

Showing off this feature is fun and you can hardly tell there it is sitting on top of the screen

Activation and configuration were easy. Literally, plug and play.

Shipping was fast and packaging was done very well.

CONS:

Instructions for 27″ are not clear at all. There is a metal piece that isn’t really explained well at all.

Attaching to 27″ iMac is unclear as well – there is double-sided tape included but only some instructions about where to place each piece.

Works pretty choppy with the stylus – maybe it’s just the stylus you’re using.

Also, there is HUGE glare on the iMac internal camera – not sure I can manually remove the plastic window the camera is without ruining the technology of the rest of the device.

You’re so happy with this product. It was a little hesitant at first because you’ve never seen one of these before, but it works very well and did not require any software setup out of the box. EXCELLENT product at a great value. Super cool.

The touch response is way better than expected! You bought this product for an older iMac that your wall-mounted in your workshop.

That you use to monitor status on projects you’re working on (3D printers and Glowforge) and so far you’ve not felt the need to attach a mouse for anything you’ve used it for.

This is not a monitor. It is an accessory to change your monitor touchscreen capabilities.

Compatible with OS X Yosemite and other older operating system versions. Also compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10, and Android. Includes a USB cable, for plug and play capability.

Secure to your iMac’s surface using magnetism or adhesives. Supports 4K, 5K, and all 27″ versions, including the latest Retina iMac 27.

Metal front and rear panels, and an overall thickness of just 0.26 inches. Designed to allow access to the iMac camera, logo, microphone, speakers, and fan.

Use familiar operations and gestures similar to a trackpad.
