Apple Smart Keyboard for iPad

Apple Smart Keyboard for iPad (7th and 8th Generation) and iPad Air (3rd Generation) – US English

Apple Smart Keyboard for iPad, if you combine the keyboard with a mouse your productivity and ease of use will go up even more. And, you’ll keep your fingerprints, skin oil, and dirt from ever contacting the screen.

Apple Smart keyboard offers many benefits:

Compact:

It easily connects and disconnects via the quick connect magnets on the iPad Air 3rd gen

Seamless signal connection, no Bluetooth to pair, no batteries required, powered from the iPad.

Easy to pack up and throw in a backpack, attached or unattached to your iPad.

Keyboard Shortcuts:

The shortcuts will spoil you and make you more productive. Very useful!

Besides all the usual cmd key shortcuts, there’s a group of Tab key shortcuts, too!

Customizable keyboard shortcuts via the iPad Settings

Great for foreign language typing as well as native language typing.

This Apple Smart Keyboard cover is much better overall. The only thing I like better about the Logitech Slim Folio is the shortcut row above the number row.

The Smart Keyboard as a folio/stand/holder.

Makes a nice viewing angle when used as a stand-in landscape mode.

Magnetic, so it sticks to metal surfaces and does NOT slide around!.

Does NOT provide full protection for the iPad, leading to “d.” below.

I plan on getting some kind of full case to hold and protect both the iPad and Smart Keyboard,

Then I will transport them attached together and toss the unit in a backpack or carrying bag.

The entire keyboard and folio are fully sealed to keep out dirt, dust, and liquids.

When folded up, the keys never come in contact with the screen.

With the keyboard and mouse, it’s extremely rare I ever touch the screen now. FYI, the Apple Magic Mouse accommodates screen/trackpad gestures right on the mouse.

Smart Keyboard lets you write a term paper or create a presentation on a full-size keyboard whenever you need one.

It connects easily without the need for pairing or charging, so it’s always ready to go.

And when you’re done, it folds to create a slim, lightweight cover.

Compatibility: iPad (7th and 8th generation), iPad Air (3rd generation), iPad Pro 10.5-inch.

Apple Smart Keyboard is a front cover only.
