Creating A Mobile App Product from Scratch…
‘Mobile App Design Process‘ is a course for aspiring or existing UX Designers and developers who are looking to understand how mobile apps are designed effectively. Unlike other design courses that focus on software tools, this course is all about the process. It is taught using an example of a food ordering app ‘Tuk Away‘ which starts from the fundamentals of design where the logo is designed from scratch to establish the brand entity. Then a user-centric design approach is used to create personas, customer journey maps, and feature lists. After that, the UX Mobile Design is initiated using low, medium and high fidelity prototyping using Adobe XD.
The way best to learn design is through a project and that is why ‘Tuk Away’ was created so my students can understand the underlying design concepts and replicate the design process for their products. Secondly, the course contains many bonus lectures that will help students learn about inVision as well as understand how to create effective UX portfolios.
Disclaimer:
Please note this is not a tool specific course. The aim of the course is to highlight the design process for top-notch user experience, however, having said that I have explained the basics of how Adobe XD and Invision work.
